I felt something days, or even a couple of weeks, before Fri Feb 16 but as my
energy was good and head cool, I trained as usual. I had come everyday of that
week and rolled with five guys in Thu's class. The gym was closed for seminar
on Friday just as the flu ramped up to where I needed a break.
The worst days of the flu were like a walk in the park, however, compared with
two years ago. I felt a bit weak and had sore throat on Friday, slight body ache
on Saturday, poor sleep and still not ready to train on Sunday, and sneezing and
coughing up plenty of phlegm on Monday (which was Presidents' Day). All the time,
I ate as usual.
Tuesday, the gym was open and I was back on the mat!
