When Colbert met Seinfeld

The other day, I was watching Colbert Report, his guest was Jerry Seinfeld. I used to watch Seinfeld, boy! this guy is funny. Almost every episo cracked me up. This guy is so talented to bring out such a successful show. Colbert is a different style though. He has a persona of this extreme right wing narcissist, which sometimes annoys some people. Though I do believe he in real life is narcisim as well. but no doubt his intellectual level is pretty high. I always like his . He is good playing with words & he plays well.

Anyhow, back to the show when Colbert met Seinfeld - two great comedians interacting. It was fun to watch them trying to one up each other. Seinfeld was talking from his new show to being a stand up comedian. Colbert asked him what is like to be a comedian. So Jerry said: well it is not like somebody who plays another person. Then Colbert was trying to use : well you had this big show....then Seinfeld simply looked at him simling & said: continue your thoughts. At that moment, Colbert realized that Jerry saw what was coming so he stopped. (I assume he wanted to use the show where Seinfeld played somebody else to get back to Seinfeld). The next scene is the two laid back to the chair & drank coffee without saying anything. I could hear the audits were laughing as it was simply hilarious to watch.

The conclusion: it doesn't happen often but Seinfeld put Colbert back to his place. So round 1, Seinfeld won.
