Shed in tears

Shed in tears when I finished watching the movie The Karen Carpenter Story FULL STORY. Something touched me deeply in my heart and echoed my emotional respond strongly.

All to do with love. Everyone wants to get in control of his/her own life, no matter how and in whichever way. It doesn't matter how much the cost would be. This is driven by will --- the wheels of life on the way to its destiny.

If all your life has been told by your beloved one to do this or that, you're carrying out their wills even under the name of "it's for your benefit" --- but IT IS NOT YOUR OWN! You're bossed around by them.

Yes your parents love your your partner love you, and THEY told you to do this and that, but where is your own decision-making! Where is your own voice and choice! Why not let you to choose what you want! This is a basic respect. It is to do with fareness. Everyone has the equal right to choose.

Let your beloved one to live the way she/he likes. Mothering but not smothering. Never instrumentalize your child(ren). Give them space to grow. Trust is a real love.
