最高法上星期五的Chevron Deference Overrule 才是關乎國計民生的大事件

過去40年法律界有一個 Chevron Doctrine， 就是對於律法條文的模糊之處，可以優先考慮聯邦監管機構的解讀意見。比如某銀行控告FDIC在監管過程中過度引申法律，法院會優先聽取FDIC的意見。這次overrule以後，法院必須獨立解讀，也就是聯邦監管機構的權力會被大大削弱。

最近幾年企業狀告聯邦機構過度監管的案例層出不求，這個判例將大大有利於私人資本，也是對近幾年政府權力無限擴張的修正，最高法算是做了件靠譜的好事。
