Several readers wrote me about their accounts being shut-down. Here is my response:

"Sorry to hear that - your account seems most likely remained to be closed for a week
 or so as warning or punishment. Science Net published recently in contemplating a demand for
 surrender of its users like you and me, drew a line in the sand and
 asked those willing to remain and defend their purpose of protecting
 the government - it's their network, so they can make their rules - if
 you want to play there, you gotta abide by their rules. Make it or break it - it's up to you. Hand-in-hand come Freedom and responsibility."

   大家好！

   為了維護科學網良好的網絡社區環境，我們根據國家政策法規和自身定位的要求，修訂了《科學網的三條紅線》，呼籲大家不要越過“三條紅線”：

   1.任何政治不良信息。同時，不歡迎網友自行上傳或發布與政治相關的信息。

   2.對他人和組織機構進行的惡意攻擊和誹謗，這一條款同樣也包含針對科學網編輯部及其關聯機構的惡意攻擊和誹謗。

   3.無休止地散布“有違於人類科學史上業已公認並得到實踐認可的科學理論”的信息；無休止地向編輯部和廣大博主發布騷擾信息。

  《科學網的三條紅線》相關內容解釋權歸編輯部所有。如有越過以上三條紅線者，編輯部保留直接關閉其賬號的權利。

   在此，我們衷心感謝多年來一直關注和支持科學網的廣大網友，也希望大家能繼續支持和愛護科學網！
