Robert Frost 詩歌翻譯

最近看到國內徐淳剛翻譯出版的Robert Frost《玫瑰家族》詩集，在他的微信圈有一些翻譯的作品。一時興起，也嚐試翻譯幾首，和徐淳剛的比較一下，博各位一笑：）
 

The Cow In Apple-Time

 

Something inspires the only cow of late

To make no more of a wall than an open gate,

And think no more of wall-builders than fools.

Her face is flecked with pumice and she drools

A cider syrup. Having tasted fruit,

She scorns a pasture withering to the root.

She runs from tree to tree where lie and sweeten.

The windfalls spiked with stubble and worm-eaten.

She leaves them bitten when she has to fly.

She bellows on a knoll against the sky.

Her udder shrivels and the milk goes dry.

 

 

蘋果季節的母牛

 

最近不知有啥刺激這兒唯一的母牛

她把牆當成敞開的大門

把築牆者當成傻瓜

她的臉上蹭著浮石，她流著

蘋果糖漿的口水。嚐過鮮果後

她再也不屑枯萎到根部的草場

她在滿山遍野的成熟果樹間奔跑

被風吹落的蘋果布滿殘茬，被蟲蛀蝕

當她要飛逃，她留著它們被咬得零落

她在小山丘上對著天空嘶吼

她的乳房幹癟，乳汁也枯竭

蘋果收獲時節的一頭牛

 

最近不知道是什麽讓這個家夥

發神經，她不進門更看不到牆壁，

看不到牆壁更不去想白癡的建造。

她的臉上總是沾滿樹葉渣，口水

流淌好似蘋果汁。嚐過了鮮果，

她已不屑再去草木凋零的牧場。

從一棵樹到另一棵樹，她躺著咀嚼甘美。

意外的收獲是樹上掉落的爛蘋果。

當她逃走時不得不避閃著它們的敲打。

在一個小山上她對著天空怒吼。

她的乳汁枯竭，乳房幹癟。
