I was on a business trip to Winnipeg, Manitoba. It was in the middle of the prairie states, some said it was in the middle of the North American land mass. It was in the middle of nowhere, and absolutely nothing to do! And I had to work and sleep there for three weeks!

I normally got off work at 5:00pm. I went to bed at 11:00pm, how do I kill 6 hours here? It was bitterly cold, -50C. What could I do to keep myself entertained?  I knew: 'I do the locals do!' I stayed in this historic Union Pacific Rail Road hotel, in the center of the city. Surprisingly, there were quite few night clubs around. I was very shocked to see that girls with bare legs and high heels walking in the snow just outside the night clubs, I was wearing three pants! I wondered how they managed....

I walked in one of the clubs... it was dim, there are few customers around. I guess it is too early.. Where I came from, the clubs would not be alive until 10:00 pm at night. Then, this cold place, who knew... I settled myself down at a table near the restrooms. You might ask, why did you do that? Because the hallway to the restroom was famously known as "the bacholor's alley": boys and girls looking for action congregated there. It was the best seat in the house. I ordered a drink, and my dinner and waited...

Just then, a fresh air rushed in. A group of girls in uniforms come in and sit at table next to me. They seem excited, chatting loudly. I asked the girl closet to me: "You guys are happy. What happened?" "We just won the college Ringlets Championship!" "What Ringlets?" "Oh, you don't know? Where are you from?" "I am here on business from the states, but I was from China originally." "No wonder, those people in the States don't know this either." She continued ' Ringlets is a sports similar to Hockey, but played only by the girls. Instead of a puck, you have a donut shaped ring, and you use a stick to move it around!" "That sounds interesting! May I buy you a drink to celebrate?" "Why not?" She said cheerfully. Just then the waitress annouced the special shots, two dollars a shot until mid-night. "That's great, girls, why do I buy you all a shot!" A cheer broke out. I guess everyone is happy and I am happy, too.

I don't remember how many shots we had... but I was one of them now.. so all the liquors are flying.. we yelled, we sang, we laugh, we danced and we passed out. I do remember telling them I stayed in the hotel next door. And I do remember we finally left the club. The next morning I woke up. I was not in my bed. I am sitting in the armchair next to the bed. And there are 5 strangers on my bed. I got up, feeling the hang-over headaches, walking slowly towards the bathroom. There are two more in my bath tub! I have to pee, so I said to them, " Do you mind? I have to pee." But no one respond to me. I certainly do not have the strength to carry them out. So I just pull down my pants and let myself go.

I finally managed to wake the two in the bathtub and convince them to go sit on the chair I was sitting. I locked myself in the bathroom; try to figure out what had happened in my head. Nothing. So I took a shower, went outside, pick up my clothes, and just walked out. I have to go to work. Well, by the time I got back to the hotel room that night, everyone is gone. The bed is perfectly made and nothing seemed happened at all. I said to myself: "I love maid service! I should have that at home!"

我去一個狗不拉屎的地方出差，要自己吃飯睡覺拉屎三個星期。。。冬天天黑的早，我冷得睡不著覺，如何打發從下午5點到晚上11點著無聊的6個小時呢？入鄉隨俗，我也要逛酒吧。雖然打冷天，當地的美人兒窮的不穿褲子，而我穿了三條，她們會不會打我的主意？

我找了一個人們去拉屎必經的地方坐下，叫了吃的喝的，等著來要拉屎的人。。。酒過三巡，空氣開始變得曖昧起來，蘇三，我回頭一看，哦，你認錯人了。心想，你這屎樣也敢來勾我！

進來了幾個瘋女孩，她們迷一種用棒棒追一個有洞的圓圈的冰上遊戲。我聽著也很感興趣，於是跟她們攀談了起來。邊喝邊聊，最後我跟她們一起瘋了，怎麽回旅館的記不清了，隻記得醒來的時候。。。後來我要上班，上班的時候一直惦記著那些不穿褲子的美女。下班回來後她們人去床空。唉，豔遇有時候真是黃粱一夢。。。
