剛買了套新西裝，深藍色帶暗條子，既經典還不乏時尚 - 後麵雙開切。
那承想，接著上網，就看到拉瑞-薩麽斯侃他當校長的經驗，之一，是能從學生穿西裝的時間上，鑒別優劣生。原話是這樣的：
“One of the things you learn as a college president is that if an undergraduate is wearing a tie and jacket on Thursday afternoon at three o'clock, there are two possibilities. One is that they're looking for a job and have an interview; the other is that they are an a**hole. This was the latter case.”
薩麽斯的latter case 是指他當年與Winklevoss brothers的遭遇。凡是留意過Facebook發家史的人，或者看過電影《Social Network》者，都會知道 Zuckerberg vs. Winkevoss twins…的事。不過，大學校長以時間量人的方法，有普遍性嗎？
仰視過薩麽斯真人演講一次，剛好在他被迫辭去哈弗校長職位之前，比較隨意，不給聽眾以距離的樣子。電影裏再見時，看那替身很有氣勢。現在新聞裏感覺著，好像學者追求真理和真實。
名人怎麽也是有效用的。拿起那新西裝看了又看，盡管不舍，仍然及時給這禮物的收受人發了email：“既然目前不找工作不麵試，西裝是不是直接免了，省得穿出罵來？”
與西裝無關：《Social Network》太值得一看了。
