首先，我要感謝世界末日並沒如期而至，人類照舊繁衍生息，獅子在奔跑，玲羊在跳躍，牛馬在吃草，小蟲在搬家，魚兒在遊戲，小鳥在歌唱，花兒在怒放——至善至美。
我要感謝太陽，站在陽光下，眯著眼睛對著太陽，感受到的不僅是溫暖，更體會到沐浴的暢快——心靈的洗滌……
我要感謝月亮，你象一條時空的紐帶，連接著我的過去，現在和將來；因為有你，幫我了卻了思鄉之情，因為有你讓我找到了兒時的快樂，因為有你，讓我重溫到了青春的浪漫，因為有你，讓我體驗到了中年成熟的韻味……
我要感謝質樸的大地，是你提供豐富營養的食物，保證我健健康康，快快樂樂的生活；
我還要感謝我的至親的陪伴和關愛。因為你們的愛讓我的生活更有意義；因為你們的鼓勵，讓我的廚藝越來越精益求精。
我也要感謝我的朋友，你們的問候和無私的幫助，讓我即使在寒冷的北美也能體會到春天般的溫暖。
最後我要感謝互聯網，因為有了你，我的視野才開闊，因為有了你，我才有機會表達我的感恩之情。
Feeling for 2013
There are only four more hours until the end of 2013, a year for which I am very grateful.
First, I am grateful that the end of the world didn't happen, and that people continue to go about their daily lives, lions continue to hunt, the cattle continue to chew grass, fish continue to swim, the birds continue to sing, and flowers continue to bloom.
I am grateful for the sun. You not only give me warmth, but also showers me with happiness.
I am grateful for the moon. You bring me to my past, present and future. Because of you, I am cured of my homesickness; because of you, I rediscovered my childhood bliss; because of you, I've found youthful romance; because of you, I've experienced the joy of being an adult.
I want to say thank you to earth, you who provide everything for us, so that we are healthy and happy.
I want to say thank you to my family, for your care and company. Because of your love my life is filled with purpose; because of your encouragement, even my cooking is better.
I also want to say thank you to my friends. Your aid in times of difficulty makes me feel warm even in the Canadian winter.
