As your baby grows

As parents, our goal is to have the wisdom to guide our child’s growth so that he can become an independent, mature, loving person, with his talents and abilities developed to their fullest.

Our first job is to meet his physical and emotional needs, so that a secure foundation is laid for his advance to maturity. As child grows, his needs change. We must progressively let go of him as he assumes the direction of his own life.

Discipline

Wise disciplinarians spend time and energy keeping one step ahead of their child and setting conditions that promote good behavior, leaving the child fewer opportunities to misbehave—to help them do the right things for the right reasons.
