將演唱的歌曲《Solveig's song》是挪威文化瑰寶。挪威作曲家格裏格（Edvard Grieg）1875年應劇作家易卜生（Henrik Ibsen）之邀，為劇作《皮爾金特》（Peer Gynt）創作了組曲。 《Solveig's song》是其中插曲，由易卜生填詞。歌詞節錄如下：

6歲小女孩代連戰領孔子和平獎
台灣聯合報報道說, 頒發孔子和平獎的組織對外稱自己是：文化部中國鄉土傳統藝術傳統文保護部。這個組織負責人在記者會上宣稱，獲得首屆“孔子和平獎”的是台灣國民黨名譽主席連戰。其他候選人包括北京認定的11世班禪喇嘛、美國微軟公司董事長比爾·蓋茨、南非前總統曼德拉、中國詩人譙達摩、巴勒斯坦民族權力機構主席阿巴斯、美國前總統卡特以及中國雜交水稻育種專家袁隆平。星期四下午(12月9日)，“孔子和平獎”頒獎儀式在北京新聞大廈酒店舉行，同時還舉行了新聞發布會。獲獎人連戰沒有出席頒獎儀式。該委員會把10萬元人民幣的獎金，象征性地發給一個北京六歲小女孩。
“孔子和平獎”評獎委員會主席譚長流表示，連戰先生有功於當代和平。但是，他說：“由於我們孔子和平獎評委會完全是民間性的，我們通過民間的渠道和媒體，正在知會連戰先生。”
不少媒體事先已經采訪過連戰辦公室。有記者說，連戰辦公室表示，他們知道孔子是誰，但是不知道“孔子和平獎”是怎麽回事，怎麽去領獎。有記者認為，連戰實際上是拒絕領獎。
對此，譚長流予以否認。他大聲說，連戰先生不拒絕和平，還會拒絕和平獎嗎？
史料一則：
在冷戰年代 , 當時的蘇聯領導人對國內和東歐的異議人士采取密切控製。1975 年，蘇聯物理學家安德烈薩哈羅夫因被蘇聯禁止離境領獎，隻能由其夫人代表接受諾獎。
納粹那一段就免了，我們的家長怎麽能與他們相提並論呢？
後記(Dec 10)： 俺的斯德哥爾摩綜合症複發。好奇心終於上來了, 還沒找到轉播實況，已經有人大發感慨：
“諾獎舞台和觀眾席太簡陋了，舞台就一鋼琴，連個其它象樣的道具都沒有，更別說盛世風格的伴舞了。觀眾席就更苦了，就一普通椅子，連個放瓶水的地方都沒有。估計台下領導不少，但是也沒給個機會講話。
另外，沒有大紅大喜的氣氛！跟孔子和平獎風格太不一樣了！”
俺的心得：
劉嘵波終於紅遍全球了，這都是中國政府一手包辦的結果。外交部發言人的代言聽了讓人心疼， 這養家糊口的代價豈不太大了。竟然開始有點懷念可愛的江爺爺。 六四是國人心中永遠的痛，知道劉是從那時開始，但真正想了解這個人卻從他獲諾獎開始。順藤摸瓜，才知他臭名昭著的08憲章，他的最後的陳述“我沒有敵人”， 他的11年牢獄。。。劉能走到今天，拋棄了自由和一切，實屬不易。有良知，堅持，擔當，這就是凡人和偉人的區別。
為什麽人家美國讚成的我們就一定要惡狠狠地反對，人家反對的難道我們就要衷心擁護？ 壞人也食米飯，難道我們中華民族就不能吃大米了？ 劉不一定要得獎， 神馬都是浮雲（剛學來的）。 “他沒有做錯任何事情”，但得獎不是他的錯，也不是中國人的過。 虎毒尚不食子。一個大家庭，出了一個不聽話的逆子，經過多年的磨練，已經快走出危險期，日趨成熟。而堂堂大家庭的一家之長，公正何在？ 氣量何在，威嚴何在？家國尚存，自由全無。何時才會迎來我們開明大度的家長？！

“我期待我的國家是一片可以自由表達的土地，在這裏，每一位國民的發言都會得到同等的善待；在這裏，不同的價值、思想、信仰、政見……既相互競爭又和平共處；在這裏，多數的意見和少數的意見都會得到平等的保障，特別是那些不同於當權者的政見將得到充分的尊重和保護；在這裏，所有的政見都將攤在陽光下接受民眾的選擇，每個國民都能毫無恐懼地發表政見，決不會因發表不同政見而遭受政治迫害；我期待，我將是中國綿綿不絕的文字獄的最後一個受害者，從此之後不再有人因言獲罪。”
