"Mommy, I did something wrong today." Anna confessed.
"What did you do, baby?"
"I told Adytia what his birthday gift is. It is not going to be a surprise for him :(" Anna sighed.
"What was the gift that you told him?" ------ I was hoping that she remembered it incorrectly, since I didn't bring her when I bought the gift.
"I told him they are one basketball and one football." Anna said proudly. She must have seen them in the trunk of the car.
"Uh oh, you really knew what they are. I guess he won't be surprised then……" I pretended that it did matter.
…………
"Good thing he is a good forgetter!" Anna said with gleaming eyes.
"Maybe he will forget what I said when it's his birthday!" She said hopefully.
"Hahahahaha, that's a good one!" I couldn't help laughing at this point.
"A good what?" Anna asked.
"A good ------- joke." I started feeling guilty laughing out loud.
"Mommy, seriously, it is not a joke. He even forgot the important things that his mommy told him." Anna insisted.
"Oh, I see. Maybe you are right. He might still get surprised." I had to agree with her now.
