Kenny G肯尼·基，美國著名薩克斯演奏家。1956年6月5日出於美國西雅圖。少年時代在福蘭克林讀書，10歲時觀看了一部音樂劇，從而開始迷戀上薩克斯。上中學時曾試圖進入一個爵士樂隊，但沒有如願，可見他並不是一個音樂天才。根據他母親的意願，他學了金融專業，並以優異成績畢業於華盛頓大學財會係。肯尼基在音樂上的成就，完全取決於他對薩克斯的熱愛和長期不懈的刻苦努力。多年來，他堅持每天練琴3--4小時。肯尼基的音樂風格，是我的音樂。目前他與妻子住在洛杉磯城，美滿的家庭對他的音樂事業支持很大。應該說是肯尼基改變了人們對薩克斯的認識，他也成為近10年來全球最受歡迎的薩克斯演奏家。人們都說隻要聽到肯尼·Ｇ獨特的薩克斯聲，大多數的人也就不自由主地心情鬆弛下來，這就是為什麽世界各地的度假中心、知名旅館或高級餐廳、咖啡廳，甚至機場，都不約而同播放肯尼·Ｇ的作品，因為大家都認同，隻要按下ＰＬＡＹ鍵，就能輕鬆地沉醉在這位薩克斯王子的魔法當中。
