解放前夕，解放軍兵臨城下,國民黨軍隊屢戰屢敗,蔣介石軍統開始懷疑瞿皓明，而瞿皓明鎮定自如,處決老王、放走張山，嫁禍特務頭子王麻子，使敵人內部混 亂，為策反韓師長率部投誠打下基礎……重重危機之下，瞿皓明堅持留在最危險的地方，為我黨我軍提供了大量極有價值的情報。在勸降上做了大量工作，他所在的 國民黨第92軍投誠了，但92軍韓司令最終飲彈自殺，他的功績卻無人知曉……
解放後，瞿皓明堅持要澄清自己是共產黨員而非“特嫌”的身份，但能甄別他身份的人證、物證都沒有了！下來的五十載艱辛歲月，他孤軍作戰，忍辱負重，愛不能 擁，家不能立，窮盡一生，努力追求的和平國度，一朝實現，卻無以為自己尋得一席生存之地，信仰與命運的鬥爭…至死方休…“我是一名共產黨員” 。
