金世遺〔林峰〕遵從師父的遺言，往中原找邙山派的呂四娘〔白茵〕化解體內的魔功。從踏入中土的一刻起，耿直的遺便注定要卷入無日無之的江湖鬥爭中，他更遇 上了生命中最愛的兩個女人。 
遺在往邙山途上分別結識了冷豔的厲勝男〔葉璿〕和四娘的弟子穀之華〔李彩樺〕。遺找到了四娘，然而體內魔功不但不能解除，反成為邙山派的追殺對象。華決定 與遺一起闖蕩江湖。遺其後再遇男，男以武林秘籍誘遺一同出海，遺為化解體內魔功而答應。遺夾在兩女中間左右為難，華最後更給男氣走了。遺為找秘籍，不得不 跟著男。遺與男在島上朝夕相對，情愫漸生。 
然而，男知道遺始終忘不了華，於是決定回中原找華，要遺作一抉擇。回到中原後，遺得悉男的真正身份，大怒，帶著華憤而離去。其後，男設計毒害華，遺為了救 華，無奈答應娶男為妻。遺與男成親之夜，男竟毒發身亡。男臨終前向遺吐露真情，至此，遺方知心中最愛原來是……
