劇情

二零零九年的某一天，十九歲的方晴帶著她研究古代建築的男朋友景文來到了她的故鄉老宅，老宅裏的一張照片引起了景文的注意，照片裏的女子安詳，美麗，端莊，大方，仿佛一個幽夢般地凝固在牆上，百歲的太奶奶流雲告訴他，這個女人叫桑采青，八十年前，她的美貌，她的傳奇曾經一度流傳。
老照片將故事回溯到遙遠的某一天，采青之母月香為免采青嫁給老頭衝喜，憤然殺夫，被判死刑，在生離死別之際，月香拿著玉觀音要采青投靠青城首富沈淵，不想沈淵的夫人玉茹發現采青是沈淵和月香的私生女，故意將她安排在家中做丫鬟，從此采青便跟少爺流年，小姐流雲一起長大，少爺流年對采青一往情深，卻因為上一代錯綜複雜的關係而另娶他人，流雲深愛童年玩伴方少陵，而少陵卻一心撲在美麗的采青身上，並且為了采青，不惜一錯再錯，以性命相博，就在所有的人都指責采青是禍水時，采青毅然做出決定，代替沈家還債，嫁進了青城的另一個大戶蕭家，丈夫蕭清羽一心認定她是壞人，對她百般折磨，蕭家上下亦不把她當人看，可是采青卻憑著一股韌勁，慢慢贏得了清羽的青睞，一曲高山流水，將二人的距離拉近，采青決定向清羽托付終身，可是方少陵的再度出現又一次改變了采青的命運，他要蕭清羽在滅族和采青之間選擇，清羽衝冠一怒為紅顏，幾次曆險，危難重重，采青不忍見他悲苦，跟著方少陵來到了方家，沒想到方家是另一個戰場，流雲的不諒解，清羽的生死追隨，還有少陵妹妹心怡對清羽產生的愛慕，把采青逼進了死胡同，一邊是自己心愛的男人，一邊是自己尊敬的姐夫，麵對情和義，采青該如何抉擇呢？不久，戰爭爆發了，少陵為救采青一命，拿槍對準了自己的腦袋，清羽不顧一切地向她奔來，卻在最後一刻消散於人群中，結果如何，誰也不知道，可是所有的愛與恨都糾葛在了那一刻，老年的流雲慢慢地淌下了一滴淚，她告訴年輕人，要勇敢去愛，要懂得珍惜，因為生命短暫，錯過了，就永遠回不來了……
