劇情簡介

　　南北戰火未息，軍法處的邢寧國（姚剛飾）此時正處在他政治生涯的重大危機中，因絞殺革命黨行動甚囂塵上，全國上下人人自危，動蕩局勢之下他在軍法處的職位可能不保。有人送來密報，告發程子凡是革命黨的信報員，他頓時興奮異常，決心查辦到底。 　　程子凡（焦恩俊飾）與關美英（陳德容飾）大婚之日被軍法處緝捕，投入大牢。被嚴刑拷打受盡淩辱之後，被關進了一處暗無天日的秘密監獄，地上是一片死屍。一個神秘老人通過地道進入了程子凡的牢房在危機關頭拯救了他的性命，重新燃起了生的希望。兩人相約一起挖地道逃出監獄因此結下深厚的感情，並將畢生所學傳授給程子凡。地道坍塌老人被埋，托付給凡一個驚天的秘密和大漢奸汪直的財富藏寶圖。 　　逃出監獄後，此時北平的一切已物是人非，長期戰爭房屋已被戰火衝洗得破舊不堪，由金慶生、佟二全（姚卓君飾）、刑寧國三股軍閥勢力暗地勾結，血腥殘酷地出賣國家利益。程子凡化身英國歸來的古爵士，重新進入了上層社會，之後把矛頭一個個指向惡人金、佟、刑三人，在一連串的計謀中，金慶生、刑寧國事情敗露，逃亡時金命喪土匪之手，刑也鋃鐺入獄。在蘇賢方的革命進步思想引導下，子凡將所有寶藏用到革命事業當中，繼續投奔解放革命事業……
