I couldn't remember willow's waving hand
Nor I recall where by the lake you stand
We wandered and sit till fall of night
And decided to camp on this escape land.
 
I couldn't remember the color of the day's sky
Nor I recall those words you lie
In dreams I made myself repeat loud
With tears awake of me never were you proud

8 over 14 is 57%, I am just a tiny bid over halfway to sonnet.
BTW, few people here enjoy English poems. You are one of few exceptions. Your excellent English must have also brought you some additional joys!

sonnet你就別太謙虛了，sonnet你肯定能寫很好。你已經almost there。１４行+１１音節+韻腳pattern。
你英語那麽好，又那麽會抓題材。

每個詩句都是１１個音節（right？），讀起來上口。

戲雨飛鷹 2009-10-04 13:39:29 回複 悄悄話 這副畫有一種朦朧的美。池塘與前麵的花草和後麵的樹木銜接match得很好很自然。波光粼粼的池塘水麵與藍天有渾成一體的感覺。可就是藍天上的白雲好象過於濃重厚密了點。尤其喜歡前麵的花草部分，好棒：）

這畫費了好大工夫的吧？
可以改行當畫家了，哈。。
