Again, I am listening to the Bach's Chaconne by Hilary Hahn , a violin version, and I absolutely agree that she has a better interpretation than Heifetz, or even Perlman, for this piece. I listened to the records by the two masters many times, but feel something missing there, now I found what the missing part ---- it's much more than the word of amazing, it is a belief of the divine world, and the mitigate to the sufferings. No matter what you ever lost in your life, this sound could ease your agony, calm your anxiety, and salvage you from despair.
Her performance has inspired me so much that I kept playing on a daily basis the Bach-Busoni piano transcription. Though Hilary's interpretation was not the first recording I ever heard, my soul was bitterly awe-struck by it. I can't stop listening almost every evening - it is so unique, the emotion flows from the start and does not stop. I like listening to Perlman's as well, but to this performance, I'm speechless!.
My nostalgia has faded as time flows by as this music day by day, year by year...
I cann't even remember from when I lost my impulse to buy a moon-cake for myself, must be once upon a time...
