863211 and PJiang, please help

My frind\'s PD is 3/9/2006, (EB2, 1-140 approved years ago).His H1 will expire on 10/1/2010 (the 6th year, his EAD will expire on 11/13/2010, Does he need to renew both H1 and EAD card? or either one or no of them? Please give me advices.
