Parent/Teacher Interviews (家長會）

Today I had my Parent/Teacher Interview. My Interview time was at 7:00, my brother's interview was at 7:15.But before my Parent/Teacher Interview, we wanted to celebrate my grandma's birthday! We had Tiramusu(提拉米蘇）cake. It was delicious! Then it was almost 7:00, so we drove to my school. When we got therewe had to tell the principal that we were going to Las Vegas from Monday to Friday. But he wasn't in the room! So then we sadly walked to my class, but when we were walking to my classroom we saw the principal and told him.He said if it only lasted for a week then we could just tell the teacher, but if it was more than a week we would haveto tell the principal. That turned our frowns upside-down!- We would have to tell my teacher because thetrip would only last for 1 week. When we reached the classroom we saw my teacher, Mr. Neilson, we then told us about me.He said that I was a really good student. He also said that sometimes I am better than others, and sometimesthey are better than me. He said my homework was average because I don't do that much bonus work.Mr. Neilson told us that it would be better to do your own bonus work on weeks they don't have it.It would be better to talk about something related to what we learned than to talk about something we didn'teven learn yet. He also said that I have great writing skills! Then he started talking about my weaknesses,he said that I needed to work on speaking up so everyone can hear me. Soon my mom said that I attendeda speak up program so I would get better and better. He said that I was like another student in my class, hername was Annie. We almost had the same strengths and weaknesses! And that was it! Then we went to my brother's class; his teacher was Miss. Smeltzer. When we reached to my little brother'sclassroom, Miss. Smeltzer said that she lost her voice so she couldn't talk that much. She said thatmy brother's main weakness was his ability of focus. And when he is done his work he couldreread it to check for mistakes or make it even better. Most of the times at home my little brotherwrites a word then plays, writes a word then plays. Most of his report card marks was 3 becausebecause he was only average and didn't do anything to improve. So then it ended! What a shame formy little brother! Then we finally went home to have our normal life again! 2009-11-27
