How to make a true friend

Now every day I take a walk with my friend who has known me for a long time, more than 20 years. We have a lot to talk, including many aspects, life, work, study and desire for the future. I do not know how long we will be able to keep in touch but I should cherish the moment that we have together. This is pure friendship. I know some times that he is emotional and anxious to achieve the goal that he has for some while. He is not patient for some of the things that he would like to accomplish. I still like him and have a great deal of respect for him. No one is perfect. As long as he is honest and has good heart, I will maintain the relationship as a good friend.
