Come back from Atlantic city

Shuwen and I drove to Philly to send Daniel to his dorm and then drop him to his work place. We said happy new year to each other and goodbye to each other.  Since he grew up and left home for college, he is further and further away from us. Although he still occasionally comes back home, he does not show any interest in seeing us and being with us any more.  I feel sad about it.  We then drove directly to Atlantic city to spend one night there and have some fun.  We drove back at noon and did shopping in NJ.  We are going to have a new year gathering on Jan. 3rd. of the new year.  So we bought a plenty of stuff for the party.
