一個藝術家的漫畫中中東西方民族的差別

劉楊於一九七六年生於北京。十三歲隨家人遷居德國。十七歲時被德國柏林藝術大學設計係錄取，師從於霍爾格.馬帝斯，獲碩士及大師班學位。畢業後曾先後在倫敦、柏林、紐約工作及生活。零四年在柏林開始自己得設計工作室。曾任教於荷蘭設計中心，中國中央美術學院設計係，英國格拉斯歌美術學院，並在國際設計研討會及博覽會講座。劉楊的作品曾多次在國際設計大賽中獲重要獎項，作品被國際多家博物館展覽並收藏。
