today is a bad day for the shorts, well I already had my shares of bad days when ATPG was pushed down recklessly after I went all in. I stuck my neck out and piled up margins on it. Now it their turn, hoping they are not betting their farms on it.
I have been wanting to pyramid into atpg when it was starting to go up, but I did not do it since I already had a lot of margins on and a lot of things can still go wrong.
My success on ATPG is on two facts:
1. ATPG can survive a 6 month drilling ban, ATPG has already finished its financing when oil spilled happened.
2. I piled into ATPG when I learned that the well ATPG was working on was on completion phase, not affected by the ban. This is the biggest fundamental news for ATPG, I will probably take some profit to cover my margin after this mile stone is achieved. I am still waiting.

ATPG up 3.4% after market after house approves a new bill on deep water drilling on Friday afternoon.
1. BP is going to do static kill the well next Tuesday.
2. New bill on drilling modifies six-month moratorium on deepwater drilling, drilling could be started if it meets new safety standard. The new bill removes liability cap for oil company, but what really matters is: it only require company to demonstrate $300 million financial responsibility. So it is manageable by company like ATPG to continue its business.
