Another triple in 5 months, big position: MBI

Today, in a scary down day, MBI hit a new high of 9.66, up 8.7% on heavy volume. Today's high marked a triple for me from my lowest priced holdings acquired 5 months ago. I am indeed very happy and proud. It is not easy. I was shaken, I was skeptical when the sky was shaking in the dark days of financial crisis. It is incredible that I went through it. Looking back, I do not know how I survived. At the time, I guess I have no choice but to hold on. I kept on telling myself that is the only logic step since nothing changed since I bought the shares and insiders kept on buying. I really want to thank MBI's insiders. I am proud that I not only held on, I even used margin to buy more after I saw the insider's timely buys at the bottom. The most successful trick I did is the 50 2012 Jan $5 Calls I bought. For about $6000, I have a control of 5000 shares of MBI until 2012. Finally, MBI is not out of woods completely yet, so hold and study is still the rule.

I still remember that cultuslake once asked me if I can continue to pull off doubles, triples after I showed off on my performance on dndn, scss, rdn, xl, and so on, my answer was that it is getting harder and harder as we are recovering more and more from the bottom of financial crisis. I am just glad that I did it again today. I believe the next triple will come from fmd, lets wait and see what lies ahead.

this time, perfect timing on mbi, I maxmized margin gradually 2009-12-22 10:29:36
on mbi while it is at 3.2 to 3.5 range, even bought 50 2012 Jan $5 calls at 1.2. I think I am doing better and better on picking the bottom patiently. Just imagine how happy I am today, 沉甸甸的滿倉都是MBI. Praising God! Currently, MBI is up 15% today.
