Meeting and Passing

As I went down the hill a figure I view

From a gate there you came up the hill

Then we mingle front and back meeting

We met all the day and we did then passing

Through soon I passed what you had missed

Before we met you were what I had passed

Oh my humble defective gazed at a noble ego

Of you, sorrow ordered passion: let it go

Happiness is a fellow who never disappoints

For all matters that heart won’t dispossesses
