when is the good time for my kid to get AP paroled for scholar?

My kid is going to be at Grade 11. He will graduate at June of 2011. His immigration status is 485 pending. His current AP is going to be expired in September 2009.

To be eligible to apply for FAFSA aid,

1.when is the right time for him to be out for paroled I-94?

2.How about this August, 2009?
