　　“阿根廷，別為我哭泣”(Don't Cry for Me, Argentina)是1996年電影《貝隆夫人》(Evita)的主題曲。該片由歌壇天後麥當娜（Madonna）和安東尼奧．班德拉斯（Antonio Banderas）主演，描寫的是阿根廷的第一夫人——艾薇塔的悲歡離合、大起大落、享盡榮華富貴，也嚐遍心酸坎坷的一生：她出生貧寒，但對未來充滿憧憬，但在那個時代，經過不懈的努力，具有美麗容顏的她很快在一個攝影師的鏡頭下成名，從此輾轉在富人和官員中，直到她遇到貝隆上校——一個聲望上升的軍官，她才脫穎而出，成為耀眼的政治明星。麥當娜又演又唱，表現大放異彩，曾獲金球獎(喜劇與音樂劇)最佳女主角，也打破了她是“票房毒藥”的宿命。



　　艾薇塔的一生是個傳奇，既深受人民愛戴，被稱為“窮人的旗手”，但也被富人們稱為“不擇手段的女人”。人們忘不了她對社會、勞工、教育所做出的貢獻。其悲劇性的早逝(年僅33歲)，令人惋惜。該片改編自安德魯．洛埃．韋伯(Andrew Lloyd Webster)的同名歌劇，由阿倫. 派克導演。這首主題歌是《貝隆夫人》原聲帶歌曲中流傳最廣的一首，曲中寫盡了女主角對祖國阿根廷的一往情深和她個人渴望改革的堅強誌意，在西方的流行歌曲中是一首擲地有聲之作。
