最近讀新聞的點滴感悟

最近幾個月以來，新聞裏一直都是讓人憂慮不安的消息，先是房地產泡沫破滅，華爾街金融危機，隨之汽車，金融業，生物製藥業紛紛裁員倒閉，股市隨之忽起忽落，失業率達到創紀錄的8.5%，隨之是AIG不顧其他人的慘淡就業狀況照常發放巨額分紅，招致眾怒；接著昨天一42歲越南裔移民因英語不好，失業後憤而持槍射殺13人後自殺。唉，這真是一個瘋狂無望的世界！

好在對於信靠主耶穌的人來講，我們雖不知明天會是陰雨天還是晴朗天，也不知自己客旅在世上的日子還有多長，但我們知道誰掌管明天。世界和時空都不能隔絕他對我們的愛。無論陰雲密布，狂風暴雨，還是豔陽高照，月明風清，我們都一樣感謝主的恩典，感謝那位獨一無二的造物主。因為我們所求的，不在他之外。這世界終不能奪去他賜給我們的永生的應許和內心的平安與喜樂。

能認識和信靠主耶穌，真的是我們這一生最美的祝福！

1. Police: 5 children, father found dead in Wash. (AP)

GRAHAM, Wash. – Washington state investigators say five children between 7 and 16 years old have been found dead in a Graham area home and they may have been killed by their father. Troyer identified the dead children as four girls and a 7-year-old boy.

2. Gunman 'lying in wait' kills 3 Pittsburgh officers. (AP)

PITTSBURGH – A gunman wearing a bulletproof vest and "lying in wait" opened fire on officers responding to a domestic disturbance call Saturday, killing three of them and turning a quiet Pittsburgh street into a battlefield, police said.
