【小衝浪說】地球 * 智商100

這一天，老大我去課後班那裏，接到了小衝浪。。。

剛上車，我們都還在係安全帶，。。。

小衝浪就很開心地跟老大我說，“I know two reasons why people don't feel the earth is a sphere.”

“OK.”老大我回應，聽他繼續說。。。

“First, the earth's surface only curves slightly so that people don't feel the ground is curving.”他說。

“Good.”我們倆都係好了安全帶，老大我一邊啟動了車，一邊補充說，“That's because the earth's radius or diameter is _huge_.”

“Second, when people look far at the horizon, they can't see a circle.”他又說。

“Well, we live in a valley.”老大我說，“When we look around, we can see the mountains and their mountain tops dominate the skyline. What do people see on a boat in the sea or ocean?”

“People cannot see that far. They will need telescopes to see far.”小衝浪想了想，說。

“OK.”老大我說，一邊開車，一邊心想，也許是時候該帶他去坐船出海了？

“Dad,”在車上過了一會兒，小衝浪又很開心地跟老大我說，“I'm smart, right？”

“Yeah.”老大我給了一個肯定的回答，淡市，沒有太熱烈響應，有點擔心小盆友翹尾巴。。。

“I knew you'd agree!”小衝浪很興奮地說，“I think my IQ is 100!”

“You think the IQ of 100 means very smart?”老大我忍住笑，問他。。。

“Of course!”小衝浪自信的話音很有感染力。。。

老大我忍住笑，沒有再說什麽。。。

或許，他以為老大我被他說服了吧，他也沒有說什麽。。。
