85. Eternal Limitations
In contrast to our happiness which is often qualified, the limitations we face are nearly eternal. For example, minority or female professionals commonly complain about the glass ceiling they feel in the workplace. In addition, one is often limited by one's upbringing, knowledge, character, or network, in that shortcomings in any of these can present severe barriers to one's further development. Beyond these, one is still limited by his times. For example, if an army officer who serves during (more or less) peaceful years wants to match the glory of General Patton in battle fields, he is very unlikely to achieve this goal. So here is another question: Faced with this plethora of limitations, how shall we win our freedom and develop fully? In other words, how shall we break these seemingly impossible limitations successfully?
