又到九月十五了. 亂寫...
(後麵英文部分是朋友轉來的, 我少改了些)
又到九月十五了, 一年裏四個半這樣的日子, 原本很正常的日子, 但近來心裏很不是滋味.
TAX, 稅日. 要交預付稅了.
稅原本很正常的事情, 因為人住在某一個地方, 人有責任義務拿出部分收入, 去幫助這裏的環境, 教育, 基礎建設及社會福利.
但近來看到太多, 領取救濟金的人群, 一眼看去, 我看到的是那些”麻煩”人群. 原諒我如此說, 我非種族主義之人, 但近來發現自己開始有此類傾向了. 所以隨手寫寫, 權當是對自己的口誅吧, 其警戒作用.
感覺TAX, 稅務變味兒了, 脫離了原來憲法中的基本原則. 尤其開車時候聽到有采訪, 一人甚至說, “who will take care me?”. (誰來照顧我?). 人應該自己照顧自己呀. 我賺錢, 因為努力, 我付稅, 因為我想我居住的地方美麗. 我不想因為別人餓, 就要分吃我的牛排. 事實上, 分一天, 分兩天都好, 但不應該變成立法, 長久持續穩定地增長分享下去.
人應該努力工作, 當前的社會在鼓勵的”依賴”而非自強. 美國很多問題, 但美國從來都提供給人受教育的權利, 工作的權利. “窮”孩子一樣可以有學上, 無息貸款; 隻要想工作, 有的是工作給你. 人為何不可以去快餐點, 超市幹呢? 有報道說, 有人好可憐, 一天工作10幾個小時, 每小時8美元, 但要麵對4個孩子. 是可憐, 政府社會安定也在幫忙, 這些疼痛, 以前我想說, 為何他年輕的時候沒有努力學習, 而是在吸毒, 喝酒, 放蕩, 所以現在$8/小時. 但看以後, 他的孩子不會餓死, 政府在幫忙, 其實是大家在用稅幫忙, 他的孩子有機會學習, 有機會改善生活. 但人還是要靠自己, 自己的努力與否, 多會禍及福蔭家人的. 用不著去抱怨, 提起褲字去幹就好.
富有, 不是一代人的努力的, 是幾代人的完善. 是整體社會應該一直鼓勵努力工作, 付出而得, 才形成的.
但當今美國感覺越來越多的在剝削真正勞動者. 從17歲以來, 我從來沒停止過工作. 高二前的暑假, 哥幾個要出去玩, 我去做過火車站扛大包, 每天背後軍裝一個V字形狀的汗堿, 奶奶看著心疼, 說, “你掙多少呀? 我給你.” 我拒絕, 因為我開心拿自己賺來的錢去花. 因為當時我沒別的本事, 我扛包. 我幹過園丁, 摸過自己畢業的學校的每一棵樹, 甚至現在, 那校園中幾個漂亮的花圃, 是我一塊塊撿出的碎石, 一點點的修建好的. 這經曆一直到現在還列在我的簡曆裏, 自己好自豪. 我掙過朋友家的$1000美元現金, 我幫他們的新的大屋, 在屋前後修建了漂亮的花圓. 那是一塊塊巨大的石頭, 我一塊塊砸開, 一塊塊搬挪, 堆砌, 甚至做出了梯田狀的層次. 好自豪的, 拿著那$1000美元我好開心. 花的也很自然. 當時爸爸媽媽說過, 不要我擔心學費, 生活, 但我還是喜歡自己幹. 後悔的事情是沒有選擇已經錄取意向的哈佛, 去了洲立大學. 這份錢省得不應該.
朋友的孩子 來美讀書, 汗, 朋友的孩子都上大學了. 我去陪他入學, 安排了盡可能的一切. 並建議, 去圖書館或計算機房找份工, 有賺點零花, 還能有時間看書. 朋友的孩子, 搖頭, 不可能去打如此低層的工作. 零花錢也足夠. 下麵一句就是想我幫他買悍馬, 然後他爸爸再不得不還錢給我. 和朋友是兄弟, 以前是, 但我這腳沒踹下去在他兒子身上, 因為不確認, 此子是他的兒子? 朋友還是原來的朋友?
70年代的我, 真的老了? 不理解了. 快四張的人了, 看顧好自己的家人, 照顧好少時混鬧留下的傷的身子吧.
稅呢, 要付的. 稅局, 警察, 抓良民是很準確, 不憂鬱的.
但心理不舒服, 看到付出, 換不回所在地的進步, 而是持續穩定地增長的”依賴”族群.

THE ANT AND THE
GRASSHOPPER

OLD VERSION
The ant works hard in the withering heat all summer long, building
his house and laying up supplies for the winter.
The grasshopper thinks the ant is a
fool and laughs and dances and plays the summer away..
Come winter, the ant is warm
and well fed.
The grasshopper has no food or shelter, so he
dies out in the cold.
MORAL OF THE STORY: Be
responsible for yourself!
MODERN
VERSION
The ant works hard
in the withering heat and the rain all summer long, building his house and
laying up supplies for the winter.
The grasshopper thinks the ant is a fool
and laughs and dances and plays the summer away.
Come winter, the shivering grasshopper calls a press
conference and demands to know why the ant should be
allowed to be warm and well fed while he is cold and starving.
CBS, NBC , PBS, CNN, and ABC show up to
provide pictures of the shivering grasshopper next to a
video of the ant in his comfortable home with a table filled with food.
America is stunned by the sharp contrast.
How can this be, that in a country of such wealth, this poor grasshopper is allowed
to suffer so?
Kermit the Frog appears on Oprah with the grasshopper and everybody
cries when they sing, 'It's Not Easy Being Green...'
ACORN stages a demonstration in front of the ant's house
where the news stations film the group singing, "We
shall overcome." Then Rev. Jeremiah
Wright has the group kneel down to pray to God for the grasshopper's
sake.
今天的President condemns
the ant and blames
以前的President, 再以前的President(S), 甚至發現美國大陸的Christopher Columbus, and the
Pope for the grasshopper's plight.
當前的政客們 exclaim in an interview with Larry King that the ant has gotten
rich off the back of the grasshopper, and both
call for an immediate tax hike on the ant to make
him pay his fair share.
Finally, the EEOC drafts the Economic Equity &
Anti-Grasshopper Act retroactive to the beginning of
the summer.
The ant is fined for failing to hire a proportionate number of green bugs and, having nothing left to
pay his retroactive taxes, his home is confiscated by the Government Green Czar and given
to the grasshopper.
The story ends as we see the grasshopper and his free-loading
friends finishing up the last bits of the ant's food while the government house he is
in, which, as you recall, just happens to be the ant's old house,
crumbles around them because the grasshopper doesn’t
maintain it.
The ant has disappeared in the snow, never to be seen again.
The grasshopper is found
dead in a drug related incident, and the house, now abandoned, is taken over
by a gang of spiders who terrorize the ramshackle, once prosperous
and once peaceful, neighborhood.
The entire Nation collapses bringing the rest of the free world with it.
MORAL OF THE
