火島之行

過去的五年裏每年夏天都會去火島(FIRE　ＩＳＬＡＮＤ）住個周末．今年到九月底才去租房,幸好天公做美,幾個大晴天.　

火島在長島外緣，也就是在長島和大西洋之間，島細長，分好幾個鎮．資料如下　（摘自fireisland.com)．
 
Fire Island, New York, is a barrier island, approximately 30 mi (48 km) long and 0.5 mi. (1 km) wide, in Suffolk County on the southern side of Long Island. Approximately 820,865 people visit Fire Island beaches each summer.



年輕人常去的鎮是Ocean Bay Park and Seaview．  Cherry Grove and the Pines 是Gay 集中的地方，一般人不太去，但那兩的鎮的小店和餐館比較有情調些．
