Deep down in Louisiana close the New Orleans Way back up in the woods among the evergreens There stood a log cabin made of earth and wood Where lived a country boy named Johnny B Good Who never ever learned to read or write so well But he could play the guitar just like ringin a bell
Chorus:
Go, go, go jonny go go go johnny go go go johnny go go go johnny go go johnny be good
He used to carry his guitar in a gunny sack Or sit beneath the tree by the railroad track Oh an engineer could see him sitting in the shade Strummin' to the rhythm that the drivers made People passing by they'd stop and say Oh my but that little country boy can play
Chorus
His mother told him some day you will be a man And you will be the leader of a big old band Many people coming from miles around And hear you play your music till the sun goes down Maybe someday your name gonna be in light Sayin' Jonny be good tonight ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- old version
Roll Over Beethoven I'm gonna write a little letter, gonna mail it to my local DJ. It's a rockin' rhythm record I want my jockey to play. Roll Over Beethoven, I gotta hear it again today.
You know, my temperature's risin' and the jukebox blows a fuse. My heart's beatin' rhythm and my soul keeps on singin' the blues. Roll Over Beethoven and tell Tschaikowsky the news.
I got the rockin' pneumonia, I need a shot of rhythm and blues. I think I'm rollin' arthiritis sittin' down by the rhythm review. Roll Over Beethoven rockin' in two by two.
Well, if you feel you like it go get your lover, then reel and rock it. Roll it over and move on up just a trifle further and reel and rock it, roll it over, Roll Over Beethoven rockin' in two by two.
Well, early in the mornin' I'm a-givin' you a warnin' don't you step on my blue suede shoes. Hey diddle diddle, I am playin' my fiddle, ain't got nothin' to lose. Roll Over Beethoven and tell Tschaikowsky the news.
You know she wiggles like a glow worm, dance like a spinnin' top. She got a crazy partner, oughta see 'em reel and rock. Long as she got a dime the music will never stop.
Roll Over Beethoven, Roll Over Beethoven, Roll Over Beethoven, Roll Over Beethoven, Roll Over Beethoven and dig these rhythm and blues.

Chuck Berry - Carol Oh Carol, don't let him steal your heart away I'm gonna learn to dance if it takes me all night and day
Climb into my machine so we can cruise on out I know a swingin' little joint where we can jump and shout It's not too far back off the highway, not so long a ride You park your car out in the open, you can walk inside A little cutie takes your hat and you can thank her, ma'am Every time you make the scene you find the joint is jammed
Oh Carol, don't let him steal your heart away I'm gonna learn to dance if it takes me all night and day
And if you wanna hear some music like the boys are playin' Hold tight, pat your foot, don't let 'em carry it away Don't let the heat overcome you when they play so loud Oh, don't the music intrigue you when they get a crowd You can't dance, I know you wish you could I got my eyes on you baby, 'cause you dance so good
Oh Carol, don't let him steal your heart away I'm gonna learn to dance if it takes me all night and day
Don't let him steal your heart away I've got to learn to dance if it takes you all night and day Oh Carol
Chuck Berry - My Ding A Ling When I was a little bitty boy My Grandmother bought me a cute little toy Silver bells hanging on a string She said it was my Ding a ling a ling
Oh my ding a ling, Everybody sing I wanna play with my ding a ling a ling Oh my ding a ling, my ding a ling I wanna play with my ding a ling a ling
(I forgot to tell you it's a little jerk, Right there, A little jerk in it, Right there, Can't do without that jerk, Yeah)
When I started Grammar School I used to stop off in the vestibule Every time that bell would ring I'd take out my ding a ling a ling
Oh my ding a ling, Everybody sing I wanna play with my ding a ling a ling My ding a ling, my ding a ling I wanna play with my ding a ling a ling
(Here come that jerk again, Mmh, Does something good to ya)
Humpty dumpty on the wall Humpty had an awful fall When they went to tell the king Caught him playing with his ding a ling
Oh my ding a ling, my ding a ling Come on now everybody sing My ding a ling, my ding a ling I wanna play with my ding a ling
(Oh yeah, Got something to it)
I remember the girl next door We used to play house on the kitchen floor I'd be king, she'd be queen Together we'd play with our ding a ling a ling
My ding a ling, Oh my I wanna play with my ding a ling a ling
(Mmh)
When they took me to Sunday School Tried to teach me the golden rule But every time the quire would sing Catch me playing with my ding a ling
Oh my ding a ling, my ding a ling I wanna play with my ding a ling My ding (That's right), my ding a ling I wanna play with my ding a ling a ling
(You know, I didn't hear everybody singing, Everybody joins in on that course)
This here song, it ain't to sad Cutest little song you ever had Those of you, who will not sing You must be playing with your own ding a ling
Oh my ding a ling, my ding a lin (Come on now, Come on now, Everybody sing) Now my ding a, oh my ding a I wanna play with my ding a ling

Berry Chuck - Maybellene Maybellene, why can't you be true Oh Maybellene , why can't you be true You've started back doin' the things you used to do
As I was motivatin over the hill I saw Mabellene in a Coup de Ville A Cadillac arollin' on the open road Nothin' will outrun my V8 Ford The Cadillac doin' about ninetyfive She's bumper to bumper, rollin' side by side Maybellene
The Cadillac pulled up ahead of the Ford The Ford got hot and wouldn't do no more It then got cloudy and started to rain I tooted my horn for a passin' lane The rainwater blowin' all under my hood I know that I was doin' my motor good Maybellene
Solo guitar
Maybellene
The motor cooled down the heat went down And that's when I heard that highway sound The Cadillac asittin' like a ton of lead A hundred and ten half a mile aheadv The Cadillac lookin' like it's sittin' still And I caught Mabellene at the top of the hill Maybellene
Chuck Berry - School Day Up in the mornin’ and out to school The teacher is teachin’ the golden rule American history and practical math You studyin’ hard and hopin’ to pass Workin’ your fingers right down to the bone And the guy behind you won’t leave you alone
Ring, ring goes the bell The cook in the lunch room’s ready to sell You’re lucky if you can find a seat You’re fortunate if you have time to eat Back in the classroom, open your books Keep up the teacher don’t know how mean she looks
Soon as three o’clock rolls around You finally lay your burden down Close up your books, get out of your seat Down the halls and into the street Up to the corner and ’round the bend Right to the juke joint, you go in
Drop the coin right into the slot You’re gotta hear somethin’ that’s really hot With the one you love, you’re makin’ romance All day long you been wantin’ to dance, Feeling the music from head to toe Round and round and round we go
Hail, hail rock and roll Deliver me from the days of old Long live rock and roll The beat of the drums, loud and bold Rock, rock, rock and roll The feelin’ is there, body and soul.
No Particular Place To Go Ridin' along in my automobile My baby beside me at the wheel I stole a kiss at the turn of a mile My curiosity runnin' wild
Cruisin' and playin' the radio With no particular place to go.
Ridin' along in my automobile I'm anxious to tell her the way I feel, So I told her softly and sincere, And she leaned and whispered in my ear Cuddlin' more and drivin' slow, With no particular place to go.
No particular place to go, So we parked way out on the Kokomo The night was young and the moon was bold So we both decided to take a stroll Can you imagine the way I felt? I couldn't unfasten her safety belt!
Ridin' along in my calaboose Still tryin' to get her belt unloose All the way home I held a grudge, But the safety belt, it wouldn't budge
Cruisin' and playin' the radio With no particular place to go.
The Things I Used To Do Things that I used to do, Some I won't do no more Things that I used to do Some I wont do no more
Used to sit and hold your hand, baby Begging?you, not today
Used to search all night for you baby And I search always anything Used to search all night for you baby And I search always anything Yeah, and Im new alone again, darlin?br> You was out somewhere with your other man
Im gonna send you back to your mother, baby Or Im gonna back to my family too Im gonna send you back to your mother, baby Or Im gonna back to my family too
Nothing I ever do pleases you, darlin?br> Or I just cant get along with you.

hehe, you are an expert :)
I just recently discovered him.
I like him because he is so optimistic and has character :)
It's very hard for him to be recognized by white people.
But he lives through it happily probably because he really loves music and enjoys his music.
