A religion question

I read a blog entry written by a 7-year-old girl. She asked the question "do you have to be born religious to be religious?" I thought that was an exellent question. I was amazed by her depth of thoughts. I wish I could be her friend and talk with her but I can't. Here is my answer: religion is irrational. You have to be very vulnerable to become religious. Either when you are young and believe everything your parents tell you or you are in great pain and desperate for a way out. There is nothing wrong to be religious. I just dislike some people's utilitarian attitude toward religion.
