今天有點兒累，就不寫字，貼首歌吧。初夏的時候，第一次聽到這首歌，非常喜歡。一直聽了這半年，到現在它已經變成一首老歌，捎帶上半年來我的心情還有身邊故事，所以比半年前更加喜歡。

在2005年的英國樂壇裏，出現了一位充滿傳奇性的音樂人，和一張專輯及一首單曲。這位今年在英國樂壇，讓大家驚豔不已的歌手就是上尉詩人 James Blunt，和他的英國冠軍專輯《Back to Bedlam》及冠軍單曲 You are Beautiful。截至目前為止 James Blunt 的專輯已經蟬連英國金榜專輯榜冠軍5周，同時也在單曲上蟬連4周冠軍，因此更創下專輯及單曲雙榜連續冠軍4周的紀錄。在如此輝煌的音樂成績之下，這個低調的歌手，卻有著如小說裏人物般的傳奇色彩。

James Blunt 出生在軍人家庭，從英國布裏斯托大學畢業後，在推出這張經典專輯之前，他加入軍隊並一路升到上尉，擔任過英國女王親衛隊，也曾被派駐到德國科索沃目睹血腥內戰，並成為第一個派遣到普利斯提納的英國軍官，領導三萬人的和平部隊。在白天，James Blunt 是帶領3萬人和平部隊的軍官，但每到夜裏，他總是會爬上他的坦克車，在寧靜的夜空下，拿著吉他寫下這張專輯裏的歌曲。

英國雙冠王James Blunt 出身於正統的軍人家庭，在這個視音樂為
噪音的家庭中，很難想像James Blunt 是如何得到音樂的靈感的。
從寄宿學校到大學，再到軍隊裡，他從未放棄音樂。即使在1999年
被派往科索沃作為維和部隊的一員，他仍帶上他的吉他，一
麵拿著槍，一麵把吉他用皮帶綁在坦克邊上。在科索沃，他
寫下了No Bravery。在2002年他離開了部對隊，帶上了歌稿，
來到洛杉磯錄製歌曲。原來一個英國人憑他的口音就可以在洛杉
磯生活得很好。

在2004發行了他的第一張專輯[Back To Bedlam]，但正式在英國
發行是在2005年。而他的第三張單曲You're Beautiful在這個時
候已經發行。You're Beautiful 還被人稱為 Elton John 的
Your Song 的現在繼承版。的確這首歌很好聽。於是他的單曲
You're Beautiful成為了英國單曲榜的第一，已經持續了兩週，
而他的專輯在英國專輯榜，連續兩週獲得第一。他的聲音還被一
家雜誌評價為“墮落的天使”，在You're Beautiful中，憂鬱的
嗓音加上憂鬱的音樂，就成就了這首憂鬱歌曲的成功。
