    親愛的同胞們：
     上周五，2月15日，我告訴你們，在我的下次思索中，我將解決有關很多同胞利益的問題。所以，這次思索以這樣的信息的形式出現。 

現在到了提名和選舉國務委員會、主席、副主席和秘書長的時候。多年來，我一直占據著主席這一榮耀的位置。1976年2月15日，全國95％的合法選民在自由、直接和秘密的情況下投票通過古巴憲法。第一屆全國人民政權代表大會也在同年12月2日召開，並選出國務委員會及其主席。在這之前，我做了差不多18年的總理。一直以來，在廣大人民的支持下，我都有將革命事業推向前進的必須力量。
   
    有一些在海外的人，他們非常關注我的身體狀況，認為我在2006年7月31日臨時辭去國務委員會主席位置一事會是永久性的。當時我將權力移交給國務委員會第一副主席勞爾·卡斯特羅。由於他個人的優秀品質，他還是革命武裝部隊部長。雖然我的健康情況不容樂觀，但黨內一些同誌和國家領導人不希望我遠離公眾生活。

風雲人物卡斯特羅

 

卡斯特羅1926年，出生在富裕蔗糖農場主家庭，年輕時代，就參與反政府活動。
