    現居美國的中國民運人士魏京生日前在日本成田機場遭到拘押，事件正引起海外民運團體的嚴重關切。據魏京生的助理黃慈萍（現任女友）介紹，６月１日魏乘坐飛機開始他對日本和關島的一周訪問，然而在他抵達日本成田機場時，卻被日本海關拒絕入境並扣押。不僅如此，魏京生還麵臨不公道的待遇，包括不許他與外界自由聯絡，不為他找翻譯，等等。不過，另有消息說，６月３日魏京生已被轉送到東京機場的過境旅館，由於當天飛往美國的航班已經結束，所以隻好留在那裏休息。　
   
    黃慈萍透過互聯網，向海外民運團體通報了這一消息，並請求各方營救。日本警方扣押魏京生之後，拒絕提供患有嚴重糖尿病的他所適合的食品。黃小姐非常擔心魏京生的身體，說，“他有嚴重的糖尿病，日本方麵拒絕給他提供適合的食品和藥物。我們實在是很難想像一個民主自由的國家會如此虐待患有嚴重糖尿病的魏先生本人與他的健康。”據介紹，6月2日魏京生在日本的朋友林飛等人曾買了食物和藥品準備送給魏京生，結果等了一晚上，都未能如願。他們目前仍在與機場方麵交涉。
   
    民運朋友擔心魏京生有被遣返中國的危險，但是黃慈萍認為，“老魏沒有違法行為，不會被遣返會中國。不過允許入境日本的可能性不大。”對於魏京生赴日原因，黃慈萍拒絕透露，卻表示，“魏先生一切手續、證件都齊全，日本有關方麵如此粗魯的對待魏先生，我們實在是不明白有什麽理由，我們估計隻有一種可能性，就是來自中共的壓力。”
   
    時事通訊社６月３日報道指出，據相關人士透露，日本入國管理局（移民局）有工作人員說，魏被拒絕入境的原因不是手續上的問題，而是得到了上麵的指示。不過，魏先生不甘願被如此送回美國，會與日本有關方麵繼續交涉。
   
    ２００６年魏京生曾到日本活動，參加由藏獨、台獨、疆獨、蒙獨及日本右翼團體共同舉辦的會議，當時入境沒有遇到任何麻煩。
   
    對於魏京生遭到日本拒絕入境並扣押的原因，目前有各種不同的猜測和說法。有日本人士透露，近年來魏與北海道獨立團體多有交往，可能觸怒了日本政府。據介紹，魏的日本朋友白井伸明，便是一名活躍的北海道獨立分子，著有《北海道論》，宣稱“時機成熟時將成立北海道國家黨”。１９９８年１２月魏京生在台北接受李登輝總統接見時，曾公開表示“山東也可以獨立”。相互間的政治意向本來就有許多默契，因此，白井伸明視魏京生為“知音”亦有跡可尋。
   
    另據新聞資料，２０００年７月魏京生在巴黎機場準備離境返回美國時，也曾遭到法國警方的扣押，導致他被迫滯留了一個多星期。當時魏京生告訴西方記者，由於他一直反對美國給予中國貿易最惠國待遇，要求美國停止與中國的商業往來，觸怒了克林頓政府，所以美方才遲遲未出麵。不久，紐約哥倫比亞大學將魏京生從辦公室中趕走,理由是三年來他沒有寫出任何東西。
   
    魏京生，１９５０年５月２０日出生，祖籍安徽，曾是北京動物園電工。１９７９年因“向外國人出賣軍事情報”和“反革命宣傳煽動罪”，被判刑１５年。１９９５年因“陰謀顛覆政府罪”以及宣稱“西藏是一個國家”，又被判刑１４年。由於魏京生一再自稱在獄中病情嚴重，並遭受虐待和毆打，西方國家為此不斷向中國施壓，要求立即釋放他。１９９７年１１月，魏獲準赴美“保外就醫”。然而，美國醫療機構對他進行全身檢查之後得出結論：魏京生身體健康，沒有遭受過肉體上的虐待。魏到了國外之後一直忙於四處募款，現擔任“海外民運聯席會議”的主席。數年前他在美國馬裏蘭州購置了豪華莊園，此後黃慈萍小姐便出現在他的生活中，並擔任執行主任之職。
