【簡介】：
乾隆末年，諸皇子爭位，其中最有可能繼位的是為乾隆所稱許的十一皇子永瑆和十五皇子永琰。為此，眾大臣在朝野內外明爭暗鬥，二位皇子的母親也頻出奇招以討乾隆歡心。永琰天性豁達，對此了無興趣；永瑆卻充滿野心，並得和珅鼎力相助，漸占優勢。為對付永琰，和珅將其心上人花椒下獄；永琰冒死救出，和珅隨即派兵追殺。乾隆得知，要求和珅誓死保護。是殺是保，和珅兩難，最後隻好應承以先求自保；可永瑆不惜犧牲盟友，著兵全力追殺。事已至此，和珅隻好攜永琰逃亡……
