They are actively seeking to fill the following two positions:

1. Senior Embedded Software Engineer

Job Deion:
- Work with chip design & system engineer team on RTOS, device
drivers and applications for highly complex digital communication and
multimedia SOCs.
- Participate in design DTV Set Top Box (STB) SOCs.
- Work with system engineer team to define the software requirement
of STB. Analyse the workload caused by OS, device drivers and
applications.
- Work with the chip design team to evaluate the 3rd parties IP and
RTOS.
- Define the architecture and take lead of the development of device
drivers.

Candidate Qualifications:
- A Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science or Electrical
Engineering
- Proficient C programming skills
- In depth expertise in embedded software and device driver
development on RTOS (such as Linux, VxWorks, Nucleus, uCOS?)
- In depth expertise in embedded GUI and graphics device drivers
development
- Hands-on experience in DVB-SI processing
- Experience of STB, Digital Video, MPEG development is a strong plus
- Good project management skills and detail oriented
- Good communication skill in English and Chinese


2. Multimedia SOC Architect

Job Deion:
In this role you will participate in design highly complex digital
communication and multimedia SOCs. Responsibilities will include
product requirement analysis, hardware/software partition, IP core
evaluation, system modeling, performance analysis, and chip
architecture definition.

Candidate Qualifications:
Senior Level, BS in EE or CS required, MS strongly preferred.
- Excellent technical background in CMOS IC design for mixed-signal
chips
- Hands-on experience in system requirement analysis design for
embedded multimedia product development.
- In-depth system level expertise in terms of system-on-chip
architecture design and optimization, such as software/hardware
partition, bus architecture, memory hierarchy, chip debugging and test
- In-depth expertise in embedded CPU including performance
evaluation, booting scheme and debug environment.
- Good understanding with SOC software environment such as RTOS and
driver is highly desirable
- Experience with graphics processing and video/audio compression
algorithm is a big plus
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Well organized, methodical, and detail oriented
