not confirmed: Sony new DSLR specifications

The following information is from a source I cannot mention but is, I assure you, 100% accurate:


- new Alpha dimensions: 5.2" x 3.7" x 2.8" similar to 5d
memory: memory stick but also compact flash I and II
sensor APS-C size 23.6" x 15.8" CCD
megapixels : 10.2 effective megapixels
LCD same 2.5", 230 000 pixels
exposure bracketing: 3 increment but in .3 or .7EV
Flash Sync Speed: 1/160 or 1/120 is Anti-Shake
Anti-Shake is now called "Super Steady Shot"
new anti-dust system
new D-Range Optimizer function (seems similar to Fuji's)
processing engine is now called "Bionz"
shooting speed 3fps
new battery NP-fm55h


Flashes now called HVL- f56am and hvl-F36AM but they look to be the same as the 5600 hs and 3600 hs with the same pre-flash/blink issue.

Also, both G and ZEISS, yes ZEISS! lenses are to be released.
