IT System Admin Wanted!

An innovative and versatile systems administrator/MIS who is willing to take up the responsibility of proactively maintaining key IT infrastructure, provide support to in-house applications, maintain its IT help Desk and assist managers in scoping and evaluating hardware and software.

As such the person will have excellent people skills and be proficient with comprehensive documentation ability.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and certification(s):
Tertiary qualified with a minimum two year experience in a LAN/WAN environment.
Skilled at administering and maintaining server hardware
Skilled in troubleshooting PC installation, hardware, and Windows 2000/XP issues.
Excellent working knowledge of Windows 2000/2003 servers.
Excellent skill in the administering the following windows server services:
o Windows Active Directory
o Windows Group policy and Software Deployment
o Exchange Server, SMTP, email antivirus and spam products
o IIS (5.0/6.0), DNS, DHCP, file and print services
o SQL 2000 and Reporting services
o Windows server performance monitoring
o VPN, security and enterprise antivirus products.

Apart from the above skills the candidate should have a good working knowledge of routers and switches including maintaining access lists, QoS and performance monitoring. Any project management experience would be looked upon favourably.
