　　江湖中流傳的一個古老的傳說：有兩部奇書《心術》和《法術》，得到者，可以安邦定國平天下，於是江湖中各路豪傑為了追查奇書的下落，展開了一場生與死的較量……
　　邊關告急，漢武帝急於和大月支聯手對抗匈奴。大月支提出的條件是請漢武帝將《心術》和《法術》贈給大月支。大月支公主蕭音一人憑借過人的武藝和機智伐幸逃出。
　　皇宮失竊，少了項羽當年喜愛的九龍杯。漢武帝龍顏大怒，懷疑此事與西楚餘孽有關，下令楊善和衛青追查……
　　衛青，霍去病，李敢，郭解，花如夢，蕭音，霍小玉全力攻入絕情穀，卻麵臨敵強我弱的形勢。霍去病帶兵攻入匈奴國土，體屠王被迫撤軍回國營救。勢單力薄的羊天朋被拿下，花如夢手刃仇人，完成了三代的使命。
　　郭解等班師回朝，將書獻給漢武帝。巧月與霍去病成親。花如夢自覺不願打擾郭解與蕭音，隻身前往南方海島隱居。漢武帝將書分送衛青與霍去病，強令郭解為大司馬，加官進爵……郭解和蕭音一起，踏上了南下尋找花如夢的路途……
