Spring Frenzy

The wind that lives through my hair, the mellowed moon

of Spring, love is silenced before many dark departures.

“Catch me if you can.” Only doubts, deep scarlet, homeless,

grow truer, more grandiose out of the white, sinister heaven.

Promise’s lightening unpeels a dead-ended wish, yesterday

and today, I was handed with engendered villainy, unpitied,

chased. Neither will nor blessing brings solvency to

this battered-realm. Coffin of my spirit nailed shut.

The ruin’s mystic curve is my only sun. Death summons

sultry leaves in the waste-land. I succumb to the singing

voices of nightingale: “No complain, no complain.”

But life tires me, its purple, undue frenzy tires me.
