How long will it take to request a prevailing wage?

My lawyer ted a request 10 days ago, but hasn\'t gotten any feedback. He doesn\'t want to contact them within 14 working days. I am in DC area. Is this time normal this time? Is it slow because they need to do additional check for my request? I am very anxious. Thanks for your sharing.
