Why I’m Thankful for My Parents

Early morning at the Thanksgiving day, my lovely daughter, 10 years old MeiMei wrote a letter with a poem on a very colorful paper. She draw the paper with Indians, whites and kids with pumpkins, corns, grapes, apples, nuts, leaves and trees in yellow, red, blue, orange, green color, which are very rich , colorful and warm. Here is what my dear sweetie wrote.
Dear Mom and Dad,
I’m very thankful that you take care of me, help me with my homework, feed me, and give me rewards when I am good. I’m glad to have you as my parents. Here is a poem about why I appreciate all the things you do for me.
Why I’m Thankful for My Parents
I’m thankful for my parents in many ways,
I always care about what they say,
I’m thankful that they have always been there for me,
I’m glad my parents and I were meant to be,
I’m thankful that they help me with homework,
And when I’m bored, I am glad that they can
play with me.
I’m glad my parents speak words of gentle
touch,
I love them oh so much.
