Ethan just got some belated Birthday gifts from one of

my co-workers. I invtied him and his family to Ethan's 1st birthday party 2 months ago, but they weren't able to make it due to a previous committement.

I've been to both his daugther and son's birthday parties before. So, we're relatively socially close than other coworkers. But, I was definitely surprised when he brought over the gifts after lunch, and said sorry I should have gave them to you much sooner, but you know how things got in the way...

I think what they did is way more than what the norms are...I really appreciate it!
