劇情:
故事描述每逢星期三，陌生女人克萊爾都會來到落魄的音樂家傑伊的家裏，兩人見麵後一語不發，惟一要做的就是赤裸裸的交歡，完事過後，又各奔天涯。終於傑伊忍不住愛上了克萊爾，想與其展開新生活，但卻發現彼此都有擱置不下的家庭羈絆，於是隻好在過後，又平淡地離開。

幕後製作：
這部獲得柏林影展金熊獎和最佳女演員獎的異色文藝片，在國內曾經引起過一陣轟動，但就故事本身來說，並沒有什麽值得驚喜的地方，有明顯抄襲貝托魯奇《巴黎最後的探戈》的嫌疑，但露骨的場麵遠勝於前作。音樂和場麵調度都沒有值得稱道的地方，隻是真實得令人恐懼。連場的性交暴露鏡頭令人咋舌，但手提攝影造成的不安定感和低調的燈光效果，剛好襯托出倫敦灰蒙的氣氛，並把兩個都市寂寞人無法言傳的孤獨情緒渲染得恰到好處。

帕特裏斯·夏洛爾Patrice Chéreau

男，生於1944年11月2日，法國

生平：
　　法國著名大導演帕特裏斯·夏洛爾執導的描述16世紀法國天主教新教徒受迫害的電影《瑪戈皇後》，曾獲得1994 年戛納電影節評委會大獎。2001 年，他執導了名為《親密》的影片，一舉奪得柏林國際電影節金熊獎。此外，他還曾擔任過柏林電影節的評委會主席。
