【劇情介紹】：
　　飛鴻自小喪母，跟隨父親黃麒英四處流浪，在街頭賣藝賣藥為生。飛鴻生性聰明，衝動好勝，愛抱打不平，又自恃武功了得，常以武力替人出頭。麒英雖然也富正義感，亦是一代宗師，唯不主張兒子凡事以武力解決，隻希望兒子可以用心習醫，繼承自己衣砵做個出色的跌打醫師。孝順的飛鴻亦盡量聽從父親，在父親麵前盡量裝作乖乖仔，事事都由父親出頭，因知道麒英不認同甚麽集各家之大成，於是瞞著父親偷偷研習各家各派武功，但隻要父親不在，其不平則鳴之性格便會毫無隱藏地表露無遺。  
　　二人自飛鴻母親離世後，便因為不受亡母外家歡迎而離開佛山。這次適逢流浪到廣州，飛鴻又很想回鄉，麒英便答應返佛山一行。二人回到佛山，始知飛鴻外祖父母已經移居花旗國，隻有亡母的妹妹寶姨一人因為逃婚、沒多久前才回到佛山，還打算經營一家西茶館。寶父母家境不錯，隻覺當日女兒委身下嫁一個武夫，最後更病故，故對麒英有所埋怨。寶曾於國外居住，思想洋化，與有點迂腐守舊的麒英常常鬥氣，後來卻發生了微妙的感情。
　　飛鴻甫到了佛山，熱心助人之性格未改。先是遇上懦弱怕事的豬肉佬林世榮，豬肉榮與街市一幹小販常被果欄小惡霸簡堅欺淩。飛鴻替眾人出頭，還教曉豬肉榮可以武自強。經此一役後，飛鴻開始教世榮功夫，也收了另一個徒弟牙擦蘇，唯阿蘇有讀書天份，但學功夫又是另一回事，常鬧出不少笑話。
　　戴嘯天乃佛山蔡李佛門下的大弟子，但竟然亦是麒英收過的唯一一個徒弟。嘯天跟妹妹小婷本乃一富裕商人之子女，多年前父親死前托孤給麒英，麒英收嘯天為徒弟，但嘯天卻誤會麒英把亡父遺下的拳譜吞占，毅然帶著妹子另奔前程，過著清苦的流浪生活。
　　時佛山有一米商之獨子梁寬聞得飛鴻竟然能以一敵十救出豬肉榮，剛對功夫產生興趣的他竟然跑去挑戰飛鴻！飛鴻胸襟廣闊，真性情兼毫不記仇，而梁寬眼見飛鴻對一班徒弟儼如對兄弟手足一樣，漸被感化，最後更化敵為友，跟飛鴻學起武功來。
